Chinese character of web pages in firefox

Postby AllenTang54 » Sat Feb 10, 2007 12:16 pm

I have installed Linux Mint Bianca; I would liked to know how to set firefox and other browsers to display Chinese characters of web pages correctly. Any help will be much appreciated.

Not sure, but according to Synaptic:
language-pack-support-zh,
metapackage for Chinese language support
This metapackage depends on all packages that provide native language
support for applications in Ubuntu (like spell
checkers, dictionaries, OpenOffice and Mozilla locale packages,
etc.).

If you also want your applications and the desktop to be translated,
please additionally install language-pack-zh.

Language: Chinese
Also

Firefox Plugin: Chinese text annotation

Do not know if this is any use?
