how to do i see the size of my filesystem.

I was wondering how can i tell how much space or used space on my filesystem/HDD. Right now it says Unknown for size..so i dont know how to fix that problem.

Open a terminal and type in:

df -h

That will show you all mounted volumes and space used and free on all of them. I don't know how to do the cool code: section so this is just a plain post.

hmm...thanks but i was more looking to the whole thing where i right click the filesystem/hdd and it tells me what i got.

hm, open up System Monitor and choose the FILE SYSTEM tab... has percentage of space taken up and everything... :)

Add "a" to it and it will show even more details:
