Numerical keypad problem

Postby Knight of the Lute » Tue Jun 11, 2013 3:57 pm

Olivia fresh installation: of the numerical pad (Logitech k120) the only thing that works is the "enter" key, so no numbers, up, down etc. The "plus" key opens the context menu. Numerical block can be toggled but without results.
Tried other keyboard and keyboard layouts - nothing works.

hank you for your replies. The keyboard didn't come with any CDs. Unchecking the box "Pointer can be controlled using the keypad" in System>Preferences>Keyboard>Mouse Keys tab worked for me.

Doesn't seem to be much info available about problem, specs do say Linux kernel 2.6++ is ok -->vendor specs

Not sure if this is the right way to do this, but it sure works. Be sure to understand that the backtick (`) is different than the literal quote (')
