Differences between distros

Post by riki »

I am running 32-bit LM13 Maya LTS and out of curiosity I have tried LM14, LM15 and LM16. Where are the improvements? I fail to see any significant changes that would make me want to ditch Maya, but perhaps some of you could enlighten me. I would sincerely appreciate it.

What you should do is reading the release notes of all the versions released after Mint 13 and compare those with each other. This will clarify the differences.

For the naked eye there are not any changes and that's true but if you look under the hood then you will see the real difference. ;) But in my opinion you should wait for Mint 17 which will be LTS too.

Thanks RacertBG, I will certainly wait for LM17 which I didn't know is going to be LTS. Good news.

Nomko, your reply reminds me of a guy asking for directions in busy NY and told to buy himself a street map. Thanks for coming in anyway. All the best.

The release notes tells you what's new in every version. If you're that stupid to ignore that it's your choice. I'm just pointing you towards a direction in which you might find the solution you need. If you don't appreciate my help, fine, this is the first and last time i helped you.

You are an unfriendly, ignorant and arrogant character, This forum would benefit without you. One more insult and I will report you.
