Due to the fact that my email account that I used to previously create an account here is now exposed for $85, I delete it. Because of that, I had to create a new Mint forums account. My question is this. Is it theoretically possible that someone who pays the money for the forum dump can somehow take my old Mint account over and impersonate me?
FTR, I'm feeling really burned by Mint over this, and am not happy.
Created new forum account, can old one be taken over?

you probably didn't need to dump your old email account,
but rather change the password on both that & your forum account,
the chances of them using your old forum account are real, but not that high,
but theoretically, that could happen.
- still a long shot, though.
