nss-myhostname?

Post by turboscrew »

What does this mean?
Found it in the dmesg when checking something else.

Code: Select all

[133671.858999] systemd-hostnamed[17371]: Warning: nss-myhostname is not installed. Changing the local hostname might make it unresolveable. Please install nss-myhostname!

It means that nss-myhostname isn't installed, but that appears to be correct. It's the warning message that may be in error, from what I can infer from this bug report.
