[SOLVED] Unable to run a terminal

[SOLVED] Unable to run a terminal

Hello there,

Here the issue i have currently, i would like to turn off my pc but when i click on log off => nothing happens. So i decide to turn off it with the command line but unable to run a terminal.

Anyone have a clue?

if you can not open a terminal window try Ctl-alt-F1.

then run your shutdown command.

Sorry, I would have had to specify my issue was related to unable to run a window terminal in graphical mode.


@Boo : thanks for your trick. Next time I will use it. I think this way would have been good to fix my problem.

However the day when I had my problem, as I couldn't wait your replies, I fixed my problem to reboot my workstation.


By the way thanx a lot for your help.
