Editing the mintmenu

Postby triggernom » Sat May 05, 2007 5:38 am

Is there an app i can install to allow me to edit the menu contents in the same way as the gnome menu editor? I'm a bit of a newbie moving to Linux Mint from Ubuntu.

You have "Menu Layout" in the menu, but it may not be entirely what you want

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it

Right-click the circular green logo (on the lefthand side of the taskbar) and select Edit Menus. Most menus, submenus, and application names have a check-box to hide/show the item on its list. You can drag-and-drop an item from one list into another. If you want to change the item name, icon, or action -- right-click on the item and select Properties.

Sorry, I thought that was for the gnome menu only, works fine on mintmenu too. Cheers.
