So, I am running mint 18.2 on a 2.3 GHz AMD Athlon dual core with 3 gigs of RAM. I recently installed freenet and enjoyed it. The only issue is, even when the browser is closed and the computer is otherwise idle, I am getting 70-100% CPU usage on both cores. After uninstalling freenet, it went back to normal levels. Is there any way to either
A: limit Freenets cpu usage when the browser is closed or
B: Shut down freenet when the browser closes?

That might help, but I am really looking for a way to automate it. How would I automaically find the PID? If this is obvious, sorry I am new to bash.
