Post by Machli »

Hallow,
After I've installed LM 18.2 Mate 64-bit on the laptop with UEFI and GPT alongside with W10 I this behavior. I tried to manipulate with

Code: Select all

/proc/acpi/wakeup
as described here viewtopic.php?t=99256 but it doesn't help. :cry:

Please generate an overview of your system like this:
- Launch a terminal window (this is how to launch a terminal window);
- make the terminal window full screen, to avoid chopped lines;
- Copy/paste this command into the terminal:

Code: Select all

inxi -Fxz
(if you type: the letter F is a capital letter)

Press Enter.

Copy/paste the output in your next message.

Try this:

Install the latest kernel from the 4.10 series. This should be a regular level 4 update.

Then reboot.

Does that help?

Then try kernels from even higher series:
Update Manager - panel: View - Linux kernels

First install the latest kernel of the 4.11 series. Reboot after installing it.
When no avail, install the latest kernel of the 4.13 series.

I went through all the stable kernels since 4.8.0. Nothing changes.
