I have just installed Mint 18.3.
I have two screens that appear to be behaving broadly as I had hoped.
The only niggle is the cursor.
To move to the secondary screen (on the left), I have to move the cursor to the right of the primary screen until it disappears to reappear on the extreme left.
It is a unintuitive.
Is there a tweak?
TIA

Please post the output of this terminal command:
Code: Select all
inxi -Fxz
</>
code markers, which you can select from the mini toolbar above the textbox where you type your reply. In settings, look for Monitor and switch their positions on the dialog that is displayed.
