Hi there!

I am looking to make my distro, which is a linux mint 18.3 - 64bit xfce with few more packages.
I would like the live distro comes with ubiquity installer on 'Desktop' after boot from pen drive.

I am making the iso with 'respin' software which worked for a while but now is giving me back a file.iso of 35kb

About the installer there is not much documentation under man pages. Do you have some link for me?

Can you give me advices?

Do you mean by "I am looking to make my distro" that you will distributing a modified ISO or is this just for your own personal use?

It would be for my personal use. Couldn't I share it?

No, if you want to distribute it you have to name it something other than Linux Mint and remove some material from the ISO. So as not to confuse your users about this being a Linux Mint ISO. We're responsible for the quality of our ISOs and our name guarantees that an ISO meets our standards.
