Currently I am setting up my systems to run both Windows and Linux Mint 18.3
Among the things I always do first on any linux installation is adding utc=no to /etc/default/rcs. Unfortunately on my latest Mint 18.3 setups it does not seem to effect. On two different systems, every time after running Mint, the Windows clock is set back an hour. This is very annoying, particularly when performing tasks where the time stamp is of any importance.
I have checked /etc/default/rcs over and over again, yes, I did put utc=no in, there is no # in front of the line, and I have set the clock in the bios several times, but the problem persists.
With previous versions of Mint I have not experienced this and I don't know where to look for a solution.
