Folders loading issue

We are facing folders loading issue on Linux mint 18.3 Cinnamon edition where one folder contains minimum 15000 sub folders.

Please provide solution to improve loading speed.

It might help to pre-load the folders' meta-data into RAM. This is very fast when the folders don't have to be displayed at the same time. It uses hard-links, so all the data has to be part of the same EXT file system...
