I am trying to connect my Samsung Tab 4 tablet to my Mint computer. I have followed the instructions here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showth ... ?t=1077377
The program gMTP connects to the tablet and shows the files on the tablet. But, thats as far as it will go. Click on a file and nothing.
I have the /etc/fuse.conf file and in the /etc/group file there is no entry or group fuse. I also created the 98-gtab.rules file in the /etc/udev/rules.d directory.
Also installed mtpfs and mtp-tools.
Will a Samsung Tablet connect to Mint? Are these instructions wrong? Is there another way connect the tablet? Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I deleted all the mtp stuff, file I created, rebooted. Installed mtp-tools and connected the tablet. Got a "failed to mount Samsung Android"
message but it worked.
