Error when updating 18.1 Serenna

I'm gettingthis error when updating through either the update manager or synaptic. Can someone help please.

The repository 'http://www.mirrorservice.org/sites/pack ... m/packages serena Release' does not have a Release file.Data from such a repository can't be authenticated and is therefore potentially dangerous to use.See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.Failed to fetch http://www.mirrorservice.org/sites/pack ... 4/Packages 404 Not FoundSome index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

...switch to another mirror in Update Manager, the domain itself appears to have expired...

Update Manager - Edit - Preferences - 'Don't suggest to switch to a local mirror' => make sure this is not checked, Apply...
You'll then be offered a 'Do you want to switch to a local mirror' in Update Manager main interface: select whichever fits your needs...

I reported to mirrorservice.org that the domain has expired. They say that the domain has now been renewed as is back pointing at their servers but it may take a while for it to start working for you whilst cached DNS entries clear out. They have renewed for 10 years to avoid another cock-up. Doesn't anyone keep a to-do diary anymore!

Also had this. Visting the www domain with FF gets a certificate error.

Hopefully it will be fixed soon. Thanks for posting that the registration has been renewed.
