I don't see that. Maybe your machine is slow, or your internet connection.

Re: Linux Mint Forum Possible Bug
My computer is not that slow, and it doesn't show on any other website. I have a screen shot, followed the attachment instrustions, up loaded it, but it still won't go into the message window. i keep getting this error message;
Error
Screenshot from 2018-09-24 01:00:50.png is an invalid filename.
so what is a valid filename?
Re: Linux Mint Forum Possible Bug
in the phpBB3 forum software a : in the file name is not allowed.Screenshot from 2018-09-24 01:00:50.png
So rename you screenshot to: Screenshot from 2018-09-24 01-00-50.png and it should work.

Ok, that explains it. Somewhere in between the forums and your location is a problem. It's your internet connection to the forums but the problem could be anywhere in the world.

Re: Linux Mint Forum Possible Bug
What you're seeing is indicative of a slow load, or slow browser processing, of the forum CSS (stylesheet) files. These are the elements that define the site layout, colours etc. Browsers tend to cache the CSS files so that they are not downloaded each time you visit a site, but that also depends on your local settings and whether, eg, caching is turned off. I suspect the latter is unlikely in your case if the problem started happening out of the blue.
Some thoughts...
1. Run a speedtest to check your Internet connection is not unusually slow.
2. Clear the cache in the browser you are using (it might have got quite large?).
3. Try a different browser, see if the problem persists.
I'm assuming the machine you're using has relatively ample RAM and decent CPU / hard disk performance.

I've gotten that too. Not a bug, just sometimes there are gremlins in the lines.
Re: Linux Mint Forum Possible Bug
Happens here sometimes, especially when I'm using a slow connection. At least in this case the page does load, unlike one or two instances on other sites where I've had to force a reload in order to display the page properly.

I have had that happen on other sites random but not on here.
