stylus writing on screen - which laptops are best?

Post by AlchemistOfLife »

Greetings everyone, and thanks in advance for your time. Newbie Linux and forum user - pardon any mistakes.

I'd like to buy a convertible laptop that would allow me to take notes and do graphics with a stylus under LINUX. BestBuy recommends I upgrade to the Lenovo Yoga 920 (they'll give me credit for the Yoga 910 they sold me six months ago, since it doesn't do what they said it would - yes, I am very slow....) but they have no idea whether the stylus will work in Linux. I tried in the store with Windows and it seems to work very well... but Linux???

Can you help by letting me know if you have used a stylus on a convertible notebook, which model(s), and what problems I must get ready to face (no problems is hardly imaginable by this very rookie Linux would-like-to-be user)?

Many thanks to all the community!
