cursor moving on its own

Post by 87220AT »

When I use Gimp with Wacom Bamboo graphic tablet, sometimes (not always) the cursor moves on its own, clicks on the buttons of the instruments panel and opens new windows.I have Linux mint 18 Cinnamon 64 bit. What is the cause of this strange behavior? Please help.
Thanks in advance

I'm not familiar with Wacom tablets but could it be something similar to a trackpad on a laptop. I.E. you accidentally drag your hand across the pad whilst typing and suddenly, you are not where you were?

No, while I am holding the graphic pen the cursor moves on its own, paints on its own and opens new windows. I don't accidentally drag my hand on the graphic tablet.
