I have been running on -38 for 3 days without problems but In another post, Pjotr said:
"Note that the -39 came very rapidly after the -38: oops, major bug fix! "
Update Manager hasn't offered me -39 yet, so -
How bad is -38?
Do I need to revert to -36?
Thanks for any advice,
NN

Re: Kernel 4.15.0.38
How well a kernel works for you is highly dependent on hardware. If it's working fine for you, there is no need to borrow trouble.
If your issue is solved, kindly indicate that by editing the first post in the topic, and adding [SOLVED] to the title. Thanks!
Re: Kernel 4.15.0.38
If it were, I'm pretty sure we would all have been offered .39 right quick. And I haven't, either. I've also not heard of any current kernel-related threats.

Re: Kernel 4.15.0.38
I'm not sure why he made that comment, I think he tried to be funny. There's nothing particularly critical in -38, it's fine to install it.nakednorman wrote: ⤴Fri Oct 26, 2018 8:13 am I have been running on -38 for 3 days without problems but In another post, Pjotr said:
