edit application category in (start) menu

id like to consolidate my app categories in my menu. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi logikism,
Welcome to the forums.
This method varies among the different Mints
Please post your Mint desktop choice. Cinnamon, Mate, etc.
Best would be to open a terminal via Ctrl+Alt+T and copy/paste this inquiry:

Code: Select all

inxi -Fxz
into the window and press enter.
Copy the entire terminal results and paste them back here in a reply window.
