I still use Mint 17, and tried to perform an update using sudo apt-get update. A lot of stuff was downloaded, but then I got three error messages, all involving public key issues. They are:
W: GPG error: http://deb.torproject.org jessie InRelease: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 74A941BA219EC810
W: GPG error: http://www.openprinting.org lsb3.2 Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 24CBF5474CFD1E2F
W: There is no public key available for the following key IDs:
B7B9C16F2667CA5C
What do I need to complete the updates, or where can I find the public keys?
Tthanks

Go to Software Sources & remove those items (if there) from Additional repositories & Authentication keys.
In Update Manager, click Refresh.
You might want to do a cleanup too. Enter this command in a terminal:
sudo apt autoremove && sudo apt clean
