IBM's purchase of Red Hat
How might IBM's purchase of Red Hat affect Mint? Will it be good and drive more people to support Mint? Or, will it disenchant people with 'Open Source' OS's?

Re: IBM's purchase of Red Hat
I doubt that it will have any effect on Mint what-so-ever, good or bad. RHEL and it's users are vastly different from Mint (or any other desktop Linux) and their users.
Re: IBM's purchase of Red Hat
I doubt the effect on Mint will be very noticeable. CentOS would be more affected.
