Data wiped out, twice

Post by jimasbille »

I logged into my computer today and all of the data was wiped out. No music, photos, books, anything. This is the second time this has happened. The first time even my external drive with backups was wiped out. I was able to restore some of the data but not all.

Now it has happened again. This time my external drive is fine and I have disconnected it to be safe. What is going on? I didn't run anything. I used the timeshift and it restored apps but no files.

Please run the following command from a terminal. If you type, the letter F is a capital.

Code: Select all

inxi -Fxz
Post the output back here between code tags. That's the "</>" button to the right of the quotes.
