username is incorrect showing windows pc while accessing sharing

Dear Sir,

I am accessing my linux mint shared folder in my other windows pc when i access it is asking for password and username and i put the username but still it says that username is incorrect

There is the Linux Mint local login password and the samba password. They can be the same but you need to add your user to the samba password database:
