[SOLVED] wifi network activation failes - randomly

Post by micha » Sat Sep 07, 2019 8:20 am

Hello again,

I installed mint 19.2, it works quite good, but my wifi connection is not working always. As long I do not reboot the behavior is stable, either it works or it works not. But somtimes it works and sometimes not.
If not, the system tells me Activation of network connection failed.
I only get the following message and no more information.

I use a Gembird USB-Wifi adapter WNP-UA300P-01 and at the Gembird Website exists a driver for Linux (so I assume it is part of the Mint distribution).

Can anybody tell me where to search for the reason, surely there are some protocol fles somewhere but I do not know where to search.

Thanks in advance

The log I was searching is part of /var/log/syslog.
I close the topic.
