[Solved] Localhost files

Post by natchezjohn »

 Months ago I installed a server and input an index file. It works just fine. But I don't remember what server I installed or where or how. I wish to edit the index file and start using the server but I don't know where the files are located. I don't even remember where the server is located. I'm pretty dumb and completely lost.
Would someone please help me. Thanks

Try this:

Code: Select all

sudo find / -name "index.html"
Please edit your original post title to include [SOLVED] if/when it is solved!
Your data and OS are backed up....right?
