Where is the KDE Control Center

Postby lawsonrc » Fri Jun 22, 2007 12:09 am

I am unable to find the KDE Control Center in the Bianca Menu after much searching.

Is it in the menu? If not, how do I get it in the menu, please?

Thanks,

Richard L.

Type alt+f2 or click on the start menu and then run program and type kcontrol this will bring it up for you.
To add it right click the start menu and choose edit menu.

Hi tekmate,

Thanks for you reply and sorry for replying back in 6 days.

I have been using the run command and typing kcontrol. I just thought it strange that I couldn't find it on the menu.

However, i did find it and am surprised no one told me where.
Instead of being called KDE Control Center, it is called "System settings".

At least in linuxmint with gnome, in its menu you see Control Center. Don't understand why the KDE version doesn't call it that.

My appreciation for your response.

Richard L.
