Hello,
in order to remove the password request from my system I intervened on the /etc/shadow/ file as indicated here: https://forum-francophone-linuxmint.fr/ ... .php?t=350
I have done this several times by copying and pasting the last line of the /etc/shadow/ file which is supposed to contain my coded password.
I am now in a situation where the PC systematically opens on a guest session, never created with any password. The machine no longer accepts the one and only password introduced at the initial installation of Linux Mint.
So I can't intervene as administrator anymore.
What can I do?

Re: Unable to exit a guest session
I don't know how to fix that, but next time you should probably try autologin instead of deleting the /etc/shadow file.
