Disable login password, but it still asks
I went to Administration - Users/Groups - and set my account to not ask for a login password. It didn't work; still makes me click on my name and type the password when Mint loads. Help?

Is yours the only account? Did you reboot instead of just logging out? If there's more than one account, it has to ask so it knows which /home/username to use.

Autologin should rather be arranged for in Settings -> Login Window (or alike wording; not now at a Mint system). And IIRC can not be arranged for if you use home-directory encryption --- which given that latter would be utterly useless given former makes definite sense of course.
