Sandisk sport clip won't show up in Devices but is recognized

Post by rundex »

I have seen other people say change the usb mode to MSC, but my software on my sandisk doesn't say this anywhere in settings. Its like they got rid of that feature. Anyways, I have seen people getting it to work. Other solutions I have tried are switching to different cables, no luck so far. Here's some terminal info to prove my computer recognizes it but it won't appear under devices or anywhere else.

Please read the forum rules with regards to Sect5. Information of the system you are using is required. In terminal, copy & paste the following command and post the results back here in between the code display brackets, 5th icon above the text box.

Code: Select all

inxi -Fxz
my software on my sandisk doesn't say this anywhere in settings.
Software on sandisk is for windows, not linux.
I'm assuming that device is a MP3 player?
Bus 003 Device 009: ID 0781:d001 SanDisk Corp. Clip Sport Plus
Has been detected.
You can check by starting Gparted and see if it has been detected, if it has then it needs to be mounted.
