Good to be here!

Post by ernie dingbat » Thu Oct 24, 2019 12:30 am

Hi, everyone

I suppose I should introduce myself. I've been a Windows refugee for a few years now. I have a reasonable working knowledge of linux, and I have a background in computers. I hope to be able to support people new to linux, particularly LM.

Best regards
Ernie.

Helpers are especially needed for all the newbies coming onboard.
All things go better with Mint. Mint julep, mint jelly, mint gum, candy mints, pillow mints, peppermint, chocolate mints, spearmint,....

Dingbat is a term used in printing -
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dingbat
"In general, a dingbat is a character, spacer, or ornament used in typesetting."
Also a board game.
"Dingbat is a minor character featured in the Ghost Rider family of comic book titles."

Don't worry Ernie, we're probably all mad here. Probably partly due to working on computers for the past 40 years. Linux Mint is the one thing that helps keep us sane - sometimes.... Welcome to the LM world.
