I've been a Linux user since early 2000s, through the years using Redhat/Fedora and Ubuntu as desktops, Knoppix for hardware testing and data recovery, and more recently LM, since late 18.x. Plenty of other distro testing and playing around.
I chose, and continue to use Mint because it provides me just about everything I want in it's default configuration, and allows me minimal fidgeting to be happy. Cinnamon also allows my non-tech family to use the computer with no fuss.
