New From Lesotho

Post by atomlaw »

Greetings All,
I'm new and freshly escaped from Windows dodging the Windows 11 Bullet.
I would like to get more people on board so I'm a learner and advocate in the making. Looking to networking with you all. :D

I must admit... when I think Lesotho I instantly think of being cold, squinting a lot and fear of pointing at people.....

For now I'm in the process of learning how to use it, but I hope I can become a power User/ App developer in time. Because I'm Amaised that Linux App development never became a thing...

It did and is very much alive and kicking to the point that along with traditional deb, rpm and tarball packages, there's mechanisms of deployment available now targeting cross-distribution user bases - appimage, flatpak, snap

Anyway, welcome to the fold
I’ll tell you a DNS joke but be advised, it could take up to 24 hours for everyone to get it.

Lesotho is a bit of Virgin Territory when it comes to developing a computer base user. I hope that Linux can take the lead in that Charge. Lets say MS wasn't to vested in it and just wanted to make money from it.
