Yellow From Paris !

Postby Fab7 » Mon Oct 15, 2012 1:41 pm

Hello World !

After looking for a linux adapted to my desktop and notebook, i'm happy to arrive in this active community.
Sorry for my bad english, i will do my best. :-)

I use Linux Mint Maya Mate for my desktop and just found Linux Mint Debian XFCE for an old Asus eeepc 701 (4G).

Your English is fine

Welcome to the Mint family forums

The idea that Bill Gates has appeared like a knight in shining armour to lead all customers out of a mire of technological chaos neatly ignores the fact that it was he who, by peddling second-rate technology, led them into it in the first place.

Hi Fab7, welcome to the Linux Mint forums :D Thanks for joining the forums!

Be sure also to check out the Community website (ideas, tutorials, and hardware and software reviews). You can also chat in real-time with other Linux Mint users. In the Mint Menu, in the Internet section, start the application XChat IRC. You will automatically get connected to #linuxmint-chat for general chat and #linuxmint-help for support with other Linux Mint users (or to #linuxmint-debian if you are on LMDE, for support with other LMDE users).

Have fun with Linux Mint.
