Hi all,
I have been a full-time Ubuntu user since 2007, usually staying on LTS releases only, and started using Cinnamon on it about a year or so ago. Also about a year ago, I put Mint 15 XFCE on my old laptop, which I don't use much, but it gave me more exposure to the "Mint way" of doing things, which felt very comfortable with "my way".
With the news that Mint would stay LTS-based for the next few versions, I decided to go ahead and switch to full-fledged Mint on my main machine. So here I am.

Re: Semi-new Mintist
Welcome aboard
I also started on Ubuntu and distro hopped a fair bit, often going back to Ubuntu, but after discovering mint I enjoyed it so much I've been here ever since!

Thanks for the welcomes.
@daveinuk: I still like trying out different distros on my old laptop that is somehow still going, even though I bought the new one a couple of years ago when I thought the old one seemed like it might not have much longer. I'm trying to decide what to put on there next. Thinking about Elementary, Netrunner, or Makulu.
