Hello! New to Linux

Post by drewt333 » Fri Oct 03, 2014 7:11 pm

LM 17 Cinnamon 64
Intel Pentium Duel E2200
Nvidia GeForce GT 640

I was doing OK until I tried to change the video driver.
Can't seem to install the nvidia driver or restore the nouveau driver, running in software render mode now.

Firstly drewt333--Welcome to the forums--just a great place to be.
This is not the best place to post for tech support. I would advise posting under a new toipic
with "Trouble installing Nvidea drivers" as the subject of your post.

Welcome to the Mint family forums

wizard
The idea that Bill Gates has appeared like a knight in shining armour to lead all customers out of a mire of technological chaos neatly ignores the fact that it was he who, by peddling second-rate technology, led them into it in the first place.
