Namaste Linux mint

Namaste(hello) from india
i recently installed linux mint 17 mate on my desktop and it feels gud to be a part of a such a community which is so helpful and encouraging. Though i am a noob and i don't know very much about linux distro, terminal and other basic stuff. I would be happy if u can guys share any gud info, article or link about terminal and other basic stuff in linux mint for a user who just switched from windows.
