Fairly fresh

Post by arancil »

Hello everyone!

Recently had to start using Linux at work (Mint 14) so I decided to throw it onto my own laptop as well. Briefly tangled with Linux years ago and poking around in it is a lot of fun. The rest of this forum (and the MANY other resources out there) have been extremely helpful, so a big thanks already and another thanks in advance for all the help I'll find in the future.

Cheers!

The idea that Bill Gates has appeared like a knight in shining armour to lead all customers out of a mire of technological chaos neatly ignores the fact that it was he who, by peddling second-rate technology, led them into it in the first place.

Welcome aboard, arancil! If you're using Mint 14 at work, you should update to Mint 17. 14 is considered obsolete and is no longer supported. Of course, if you're not using it connected to the internet, it probably doesn't matter.
