Another noob

Post by Turgid » Thu Dec 31, 2015 2:42 pm

Howdy, I just installed Mint 17.3 on a empty hard drive.
To do anything I have to use the internet to follow directions. Thats a newbie!
So far I have grub booting verbosely.
Firefox configured like all my other computers- import/export bookmarks, passwords,TabMixPlus config, hosts file.
Network printer around 100 hours install time.
A gmail notifier that works! gm-notify
i-nex
Double click slowed down so its usable.
Thats all I can think of for now.

Welcome to the Mint family forums

The idea that Bill Gates has appeared like a knight in shining armour to lead all customers out of a mire of technological chaos neatly ignores the fact that it was he who, by peddling second-rate technology, led them into it in the first place.
