The idea that Bill Gates has appeared like a knight in shining armour to lead all customers out of a mire of technological chaos neatly ignores the fact that it was he who, by peddling second-rate technology, led them into it in the first place.

Hi Bob. I've been a Mint user since version 3 Cassandra. Live in Waipapa, near Kerikeri, in the Far North.

And, before I forget, welcome to the wonderful world of LinuxMint. You'll soon be finding that you don't need Windows.

Welcome to Linux Mint, and the Mint forum. I don't like Gimp either, I use Pinta, and it works great.

Hello, cameraman.
Welcome to Mint and to the forum !

The only adventures I have had with photography has been learning to take photos of large spaces inside caves (with no natural lighting, of course). I have had plenty of adventures with Mint, however!
