Hello everyone!

Post by Spadge »

Hi all,

I'm fresh here on my first day of Mint, liking the polish and togetherness of the whole thing so far.

Getting it to install was a lot of work, but I got here in the end!

I've come here from Ubuntu (Mate, KDE, Gnome, you name it) and am missing my multiple desktops cube and dock, maybe I'll get used to that.

Thanks for having me!

Hi "Spadge",

Welcome to the wonderful world of Linux Mint and its excellent forum !

It would help to know more about your system setup. If you run "inxi -Fxzd" from the console terminal prompt, highlight the results, copy and paste them back here, that should provide enough information.

Thanks for the warm welcomes!

I'm probably keep Ubuntu Mate on my Pi server, so far loving the Mint on the desktop.
