Good evening all

Post by Skip94 » Thu Aug 17, 2017 6:05 pm

Hi all
Thought I'd register here in order to try and learn a bit! I've been playing about with computers, more than just using them for several years now and have dabbled with Ubuntu before, but this is my first time using Mint.
Unfortunately I'm not fantastic at the technology side of things, give me an engine or gearbox to rebuild, fantastic, but a bit slower with technology, however, as I say, I'm always keen to learn. Currently trying to make my old laptop run again for workshop and tuning use, but struggling with one little (I hope!) issue. I shall post a question in the relevant forum.
Cheers
Andrew

Welcome to the Mint family forums.

Most problems already have a fix
search

If you need to ask please copy and paste the result of terminal code inxi -Fnx with your question
And take your time to avoid disappointment.

The idea that Bill Gates has appeared like a knight in shining armour to lead all customers out of a mire of technological chaos neatly ignores the fact that it was he who, by peddling second-rate technology, led them into it in the first place.
