I'm new and would like to say HI & THANKS!

Post by 1nkey » Fri Aug 18, 2017 3:50 pm

hi
would just like to give a big thumbs up to all involved in the Mint / Ubuntu projects... your effort has been a massive help and Mint is now my favorite os..
I've been using Linux for some years at a very basic level through work and it has been drawing me in steadily. (although i always wanted to get a better handle on it) .... I actually stopped having a desktop for about 5 years and came back into it basically because of the whole open source community .... so

thanks :!:

Welcome to the Mint family forums.

The idea that Bill Gates has appeared like a knight in shining armour to lead all customers out of a mire of technological chaos neatly ignores the fact that it was he who, by peddling second-rate technology, led them into it in the first place.
