Hello everyone!
I've been reading these forums ever since I installed LM 18.1 and found answers to
all technical problems I've had (only minor stuff), and learned a lot from reading
other people's posts (especially users Pjotr's and Xenopeek's posts)
Now I'd like to try to give something back to the community, perhaps by helping
other new users with their Linux Mint problems if I am able
About 5 months ago I decided that I wanted to try out Linux, mainly because I wanted
to take up programming again (for fun) and try something other than Windows.
After trying Ubunt I found out about Linux Mint and tried the Xfce version, which worked
almost perfectly for my low-powered computer. So now I'm running 18.1 Xfce and I'm very
happy with the experience
I've had so much fun learning how to use Linux and I'm amazed at the quantity and quality
of Free & Open Source software, something I wasn't aware of at all before
