Just got Mint (Cinnamon 18.2 64 bit) running on Virtualbox on my new (old stock - 2015) Macbook Pro, hello everyone!
I've dabbled off and on with various Linux and Unix, and my real job is programming mainframe COBOL with the other dinosaurs!

Thanks all! Looks like I posted here a year ago and forgot, I never got Mint running on ye olde Toshiba, maybe some day.
New-ish MBP (2015) seems to handle this just fine in a virtual window...
