New Linux fan

Hello everyone,

New guy here. Pretty experienced with Windows, but for different reasons, such as curiosity, security, and cool features of Linux systems, I started learning my way around Linux, and choose Mint as my primary Linux Distro. After some initial problems I grew to like it very much.
I am a big supporter of the idea of open-source software, the free and equal Internet, and freedom of information in general. This is the main reason I like the philosophy of Linux.

I plan to use both Win 10 and Linux for different things, but I plan to use Linux only for my professional work.

Do Take the Time to read the LinuxMint Users Guide that came with the installation.

there is a Rule around here: "Linux is not Windows".
ie: things don't always work as expected,
