Hello Linux Mint Forums,

I started using Linux prior to the end of support for Windows XP.
I figured it would be the perfect opportunity to give Linux a look at.

Started using Ubuntu 14.04 and liked how it worked and learned as I used.
I'm now using Linux Mint 18 Xfce and Linux Mint 18.2 Mate on ten year old desktops.

Why buy new computers when I can install Linux Mint and use what I already have. :)
Linux Mint runs great on both of these desktops and does everything I need without complaints. :)

Yeah, right now I'm using this over Ubuntu was because I noticed that Ubuntu was losing many features and even applications. Also, welcome to LM 151tom!

Yes Canonical seems to be radically changing Ubuntu and that's OK I'll just stay with Linux Mint.

Thanks for the welcome. :)
