I really embraced Mint

Hello to all!

I've been trying to use Linux for about two years. Being a Mac user for the last 7 years, until the MacBook Pro I had died, I couldn't go back to Windows (specially Windows 10). I tried a lot of distros and the one I really felt comfortable was Mint. I'm using a laptop at home with Mint cinnamon and a another one at work with Mate in dual-boot with Windows 10 (which I rarely access).

My first attempts with Mint weren't completely successful, but now I solved all the difficulties I once had. Video card works, printer works, found alternatives for all applications I used in Windows or Mac (there's even a TomTom Sports Connect version for Linux!)... I converted all the office files to LibreOffice, managed the font library. Now everything just works! So, I've been using Mint exclusively for the last two months and couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. I hope I can contribute with the community in some way.
