New Registration, requesting registration code for Linux Mint Community

Hello. My name is John, but I prefer to be called JP or even by my userid, which is lshismp (an acronym that you can google for expansion). I am a new registration to this forum. I am requesting, please, a Registration Code for the Linux Mint Community (i.e., community.linuxmint.com). I am not a spam-bot or other automated script. Thank you.
I'm not sure how that is fulfilled/supplied. Do you need my e-mail address, or do you already have access to that from my registration to this forum?

Hi Moem.
I did my best to follow the directions that I found there:
" To get a registration code connect to the chatroom (From within Linux Mint, launch Menu->Welcome Screen and click on Chat Room), introduce yourself and ask for a registration code."
Did I miss something?

I haven't seen anyone on IRC ask for a registration code lately. Please try again

Above the registration dialog area I see:

" Due to the huge amount of SPAM bots registering here. We now require a registration code. "

To the right of the Registration Code fill-in, I get a reply: " The Registration Code field is required. " when I click the <Register> button.

Go to https://community.linuxmint.com/ Click the community tab and go to Chat Room, when you are in the chat room, ask for registration code
